OzzyMoose Hospitality Group started with one restaurant on Smith Mountain Lake in Southwest Virginia and grew into a collection of dining and retail destinations. They came to us to help bring the experience to life online.
To bring the growing collection of businesses together, we designed the OzzyMoose logo, giving the overall brand an identity of its own while allowing each destination to keep its individual personality.
We started with a two-day photo shoot to build a library of images that captured more than just great food. We captured the atmosphere, the experiences and, perhaps most importantly, the locals who make these places come alive night after night.
Putting the new photo library to use, we created websites for the OzzyMoose brand and each of the restaurants and retail destinations, bringing their individual personalities to life. The idea was to give people a taste of the OzzyMoose experience before they ever arrived. And, of course, make them hungry.
We also created the SML brand (“So Much Love”), a playful take on Smith Mountain Lake and Virginia’s iconic “Virginia is for Lovers” campaign. The result was a brand that celebrated the lake, the people and everything they love about spending time there, brought to life through original branded merchandise.
